Air Pollution Petition

Dear Friends,

Malta suffers from a serious traffic pollution problem with levels of pollutants which regularly exceed European standards. The damaging effects of this pollution on our health is severely aggravated by the emission of black smoke from so many of our buses and other diesel vehicles.  Besides causing cancer, this pollution also affects children by retarding their lung development and contributes to Malta having the highest rates of childhood asthma in Europe.

Please help us prevent damage to our health from heavy pollution caused by buses and other diesel-powered vehicles that emit black smoke by signing the petition below and circulating this message to all your family and friends.
